Job Description
We are seeking an aspiring Compliance Analyst to join our team on a part-time, fully remote basis. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing the compliance process for early stage companies ensuring they adhere to industry standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the compliance process for clients, ensuring adherence to industry standards
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security incidents and alerts.
- Collaborate with clients to implement and maintain security controls and processes.
- Conduct regular security assessments and work with auditors.
- Provide guidance on compliance frameworks and requirements.
- Maintain detailed records and documentation of compliance activities.
Qualifications
- Experience as a SOC Analyst or a similar Cyber Security role.
- Understanding of compliance frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, etc.
- Proficiency in using cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Nice to Have
- Any certifications such as Certified Cloud Practitioner, CCSK, CISSP, Security+, or equivalent.
- Experience with compliance automation tools like Secureframe, Vanta, or Drata.
